All morning, CNN correspondent Ted Rowlands has been in Naperville, IL, showing the world how cold it is. He tried to demonstrate this by using a frozen banana to hammer a nail into a piece of wood. He labeled said fruit tool a “banana hammer.”
Banana Hammer. You keep using that word. I do think it means what you think it means.
@scottkleinberg oops…. what’s it mean?

I had to be careful in my response. Let’s just say the answer to Ted’s question isn’t safe for work.
@scottkleinberg I will not be saying “banana hammer ” anymore!

And just like that. Mankind is saved from CNN’s banana hammer. I don’t know how Ted is going to get that nail into the piece of wood, but that’s for him to figure out. Meanwhile, I showed my support for his future endeavors.
@TEDROWLANDS Mankind is saved! If you want to mention my name on CNN, I fully support you. 🙂 Stay warm.

Not a bad way to start 2014. Anyhow, because there are no banana hammer photos, here’s a photo of a dancing cartoon dog in a banana suit.
